MMCC LA is OPEN to the public every day of the year during daylight hours. Come see patients currently in our care from the fence line.

Visitors are not permitted “behind the scenes” and are kept a safe distance from the animals. This helps to provide a low stress environment during the patients’ rehabilitation, as well as to enable their natural wild behavior.

Groups are invited to come to the Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles to learn about seals, sea lions, and marine environment.  Participants can see recovering patients and learn how human interactions affect our ocean life. Visitors will also observe animal care, feeding procedures, and learn about rehabilitation procedures we use to return the animals back to their ocean environment.
